The programme is the first
of its kind and will be jointly delivered by Indian
Institute for Production Management (IIPM) and
National Power Training Institute (NPTI) at their
campus in Kansbahal (Near Rourkela) & New
Delhi respectively. IIPM is a premier training
institute in India setup by ICICI and Larsen &
Toubro Ltd. NPTI is a Government of India training
organization set up to provide training to power
plant Engineers. The programme covers most aspect
of power plant management.
Designed for
Supervisors & Managers
engaged in operation and maintenance of power
generating stations, transmissions and distribution
systems. The candidates may have Degree in Engineering
/ Diploma in Engg. / Bachelor of Science with
3-5 years of experience.
Objectives
The programme provides a
very broad coverage of most aspects of power plant
management. The objective therefore is to give
an overview to persons engaged in operation and
maintenance aspects. The programme will also be
helpful for those persons who have been picked
