is announcing 8th batch of Post Graduate
Diploma in Engineering Management (PGDEM)
Programme from August 2009.
The Need
There
is a continuous requirement of properly
trained Graduates and Diploma holders
by all types of manufacturing companies
to survive in the modern competitive
era.
Most students
prefer IT, Finance and Marketing type
white collared jobs which are high
paying . As a result of this, companies
offering jobs in these areas pick
up the top students. Thus there is
a requirement to train rest of the
students in relevant skills to improve
their employability.
Manufacturing
companies are also in the look out
for properly trained persons to manage
their operations. We plan to fill
this niche by supplying trained Engineering
Graduates and Diploma holders, so
that they can adopt to shop floor
management very quickly.
These courses
will also be made available to Engineers
and Supervisors from Industries. Such
candidates need to be sponsored by
their employer. The candidates are
therefore advised to apply for admission
to IIPM and simultaneously apply to
their employer for sponsorship. The
qualification norms will be relaxed
in case of employed candidates.

Quantitative Methods
Human Resource Management
Principle & Practices of
Management
Eligibility
Engineering Graduate in Mechanical/ Production/
Manufacturing/ Electrical Branch.
Project & Placement
Throughout
the courses students are exposed to work practices/equipments
in different industries by getting several chances
of industrial visits. Expert’s lectures
from leading industrial personalities are the
focused issues. Placement assistance is
provided by the institute.
