IIPM conducted successfully one year ITI equivalent training course in the trade of FITTER during 03.12.2007 to 02.12.2008 for 20 Employees of ITC-Munger. The Institute has also started one year ITI equivalent course in the trade of ELECTRICIAN with effect from 20.10.2008 for 12 Employees of ITC-Munger.

IIPM Recently conducted successfully Specialised Modular Technical Training programme for 65 B.Sc. Trainees of Vedanta Alumunium Limited. in two batches. The Programme covered important topics in the areas of Mechnical, Electrical and Electronics Engg. The purpose of this training was to equip the Fresher Science Graduates with techniques of the Operations & Maintenance of Plant & Equipment in order to develop them as complete Technicians. So, That they are able to shoulder higher responsibilities.

The 12-Week International Residential Training Programme on ûPower Plant managementû for Overseas Participants Conducted recently by IIPM & NPTI, Faridabad started in the Institute on 12-Jan-2009. The First phase of the programme for 6-Weeks has been completed on 21-Feb-2009 at IIPM-Kansbahal with 17 Overseas participants from 12 Developing countries. The Participants are undergoing the second phase of training at NPTI, Faridabad for remaining 6-Weeks which will be conclude on 3-Apr-2009.

IIPM has completed its 25th glorious year and enter in 26th year of success in imparting training and consultancy services. IIPM has been organizing Training Programmes for Managers and Supervisors from India and abroad for last 26 years. 25,073 participants from Indian industries and 1100 plus participants from 85 developing countries of the world have availed of the training facilities since the inception of the institute. The Consultancy Services in critical areas of Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) provided by the organization have benefited many industries. Keeping in view the necessity to enhance the employability of Graduate Engineers and Diploma holders by training them in necessary Shop Floor Management, the institute has started Education Programmes in Engineering Management and Condition Monitoring.
